Enfield Norse re-awarded £582k cleaning contracts

Enfield Norse, a joint venture company formed and owned by Enfield Council and Norse Ltd, has been re-awarded two schools cleaning contracts with a combined value of over £580k.

Southgate School and Broomfield School have both extended their premises cleaning agreements. The combined £582k contracts cover daily cleaning of classrooms, communal areas, toilets, halls and staffrooms, plus periodic deep cleans.

Enfield Council’s Deputy Leader, Cllr Achilleas Georgiou said “The driving force behind Enfield Norse is to build a successful business without compromising the public sector ethos and our commitment is to provide an effective, commercial, value for money services while retaining a strong focus on our social responsibility.

“That the company has been awarded this new business worth over half a million pounds is exciting news, and we hope to hear of more successful contracts being awarded in the near future.”

Nicholas Bryan, Business Development Manager at Enfield Norse said: “The extension of our contracts at these two well respected local schools is indicative of the confidence educational establishments in North London have in Enfield Norse.

“We are delighted to continue our excellent working relationship with the schools and their staff and to helping maintain clean and healthy learning environments for the students.”
