Planet Holidays and Weddings is one of the UK’s top overseas wedding specialists, twice annually (spring and autumn), exhibiting at the National Wedding Show in London and at the NEC, Birmingham.
The team from Tips & Toes Cyprus, specialising in bridal hair, make-up and nails, joined Planet Holidays & Weddings for two National Wedding Shows, London and Birmingham end of February and early March 2016 giving brides a hair or beauty makeover. All donations made to Alisha Owen and her industrious team of Tips & Toes Cyprus were collected and given to Cancer Research UK. which receives no government funding for research and relies entirely on the commitment and generosity of volunteers and supporters.
Alisha Owen of Tips & Toes Cyprus commented: “We’ve been attending the National Wedding Shows for the past few years and joined AITO specialist Planet Holidays & Weddings on their stand to provide brides to be with tips on their hair and make-up. We’ve asked the brides to make a donation and each year we have supported different UK charities with the donations we’ve collected. This year our donation went to Cancer Research UK because it is a charity that is close to our hearts as it fights for a world where no one’s life is cut short by cancer.”
The cheque for £695.65 to Cancer Research UK was presented by Alisha Owen of Tips and Toes Cyprus with Harry Kyrillou and Mathilde Robert, Directors of Planet Holidays & Weddings. Receiving the cheque is Jane Sullivan for Cancer Research UK.
