Burglars struck gold in Larnaca when they robbed two apartments, one belonging to a woman and the other to her grandmother, making it out with luxury loot.
The burglars managed to break in into a woman’s apartment on Trikalon Street on Sunday night and stole five hand-made luxury-brand watches, two women’s designer handbags, and three briefcases with several documents inside.
The woman also reported to police that her grandmother’s adjacent apartment also fell victim to robbery, with burglars stealing another hand-made handbag, and black purse, €500 and £400 in cash and a pearl necklace.
Police say based on initial investigations, it appears the burglars used a sharp object to break in through the front door in both apartments.
The brands of the watches reported stolen were Dolce & Gabbana, DKNY, Citizen, and Police.
