Greek Defence Minister Panos Kamenos wrapped up his visit to the US with a meeting at the State Department with US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, Victoria Nuland.
Kamenos told the press that he discussed the latest developments on the Cyprus issue with Nuland and reiterated the Greek Government`s position that “the withdrawal of the Turkish forces from Cyprus is a precondition”.
He said that they had a very fruitful conversation that covered the bilateral relations, NATO and the economic crisis in Greece.
