Police arrested a 54-year-old man from Paphos in connection with an attempt on destroying a property with explosives.
The police reported, that the explosion took place at 11:30pm outside a Nicosia home owned by a 60-year-old man. The explosion caused extensive damages to his car and fence around his residence.
Police have revealed that a hand grenade was used.
Police invesatigations continue.
