The jungle drums are beating and it’s almost time for Ant and Dec to head Down Under for this year’s I’m A Celebrity.
Speculation about which celebs are likely to be taking part has been simmering for a while – amongst the list are the usual range of sports stars, pop stars, soap stars ex-stars and reality TV wannabes!
First to be strongly tipped to hit up Australia is Ben Cohen – former rugby player and Strictly Come Dancing and The Jump contestant.
Ben has been hinting to friends that he’s got an upcoming project in Australia.
Other sports stars rumoured to be taking part include ex-Liverpool and England defender Jamie Carragher and ex-Wimbledon champ Boris Becker.
Ex-Corrie star Craig Charles sadly had to leave the jungle prematurely in 2014 after the death of his brother but looks set to return this year for another stab.
Former Saturdays star, Vanessa White, also looks set to join the group Down Under.
Where would any show like I’m A Celebrity be without the seemingly endless stream of ‘stars’ of shows like Love Island, Geordie Shore, TOWIE and Made in Chelsea? This year is no different as rumours abound that Love Island’s ‘Muggy Mike’ Thalassitis Cyprus international football star and Jonny Mitchell are both taking part.
And there’s good news for Ant and Dec fans! After Ant’s scare during the summer when he had to be treated for his addiction to painkillers it looks like he and Dec will be reunited as TV’s most successful double act ever.
Production on the popular reality show has been pushed back for three weeks to give Ant time to recover before heading Down Under.
Dec had said he would never present the show without his buddy by his side.
It is safe to say that it will soon become clear as to who is taking part, but with the marvellous Geordie duo back together it will be another memorable and hilarious few weeks in the jungle!
Adios,
Andrea
