Incorporating folk instruments like the tsouras and sazi, Jackpot effectively fuse traditional musical elements with hip-hop swagger to create an intense and rousing anthem that lays the past to rest and instead motivates moving forward and embracing who you are.

The video clip to the single, shot in Canada by Greek-born director Dimitris Apostolos, premiered this week. It captures the duo spitting rhymes at various striking locations, from Ontario’s enchanting lake to the lively Avenue of Downtown and the city’s main squares. Perasmena Ksehasmena is released via On Music.
Kostas Martakis
The enigmatic Kostas Martakis returns this year with the evocative and emotional love ballad An Eisai Erotas, dealing with the loss and injustice of love.
Tissues at the ready for this stirring song, created by Kyriakos Papadopoulos and Romy Papadeas, which exudes vulnerability and showcases the softer side of Martakis, perfectly matched with the “kaleidoscopic” video recently unveiled on You Tube to accompany the new single.
Nikos Oikonomopoulos
Popular Greek artist Nikos Oikonomopoulos is also feeling generous and offering a new track to entertain his fans this winter entitled Dyo Zoes and penned to premiere on the radio airwaves this Monday 28th January.
Aside from the title and a short instrumental teaser which hints at a zeimbekiko ethos, no other clues on the song have been revealed.
The singer, one of the most successful Greek artists of the last decade, has continued to cement his star status through his repertoire, particularly in 2018, which saw him frequently trending as number 1 on YouTube – not surprising when his view stats show he accumulated over 23 million views in last year alone! The Annual Digital Chart of 2018 also confirmed that seven songs by Oikonomopoulos were found in the top 50 – more than any other Greek artist!
New single Dyo Zoes will be released in all digital stores on the 4th February by Minos EMI / Universal.
