Tripimeni pulled off a big shock result versus Livadia who actually played some good football Tripimeni led one nil with a goal from Ramir Rifat then Adem Ali equalised for Livadia.
But their defence was gaping and in no time Tripimeni went 7-1 up which was the half time score.
Tripimeni went onto score another three goals with their super striker Ahmet Rifat unstoppable he went on to score six goals, his brother Ramir 2, George Gregoriou and Paul Wright.
Tripimeni now go onto play Omonia in the next round.
Second Round
Rizokarpasso 2 New Salamis 6
George Georgiou has returned to manage New Salamis and they had a refreshing look about them. But that was soon to be put to a halt when Steve Velandia missed a penalty for the reds and Rizokarpasso taking the lead through a well taken free kick from Tony Ponnou.
This seem to give New Salamis a kick start and equalised with Stephano when he coolly slotted the ball into the far corner of the net. Three goals followed from Nick Kitipos with two headers from spot kicks and one from Kyri Portou.
Luke Kroll scored for Rizokarpasso to make it 4-2 with a really neat goal, that’s before Shaun Mullings increased the score to 6-2 to put New Salamis in the semi final to play Apoel.
Apoel 1 Olympia 0
This team Olympia gets better and better they have ended up being the surprise package of the season and a very popular team with a young manager 24 year old Chris Zacharia and a young team squad. They are very well organised and a strong defence in fact they have conceded the least goals in the whole league and that is a great achievement. This was a very tight game and it took till the final ten minutes for Apoel to break the deadlock with a goal from Andre McCollins to reward them with a semi final game versus New Salamis.
Cetinkaya Cinar 2 Komi Kebir 0
Komi surprised a lot of people when they took all 3 points in their last meeting with Cinar this time the result was reversed.
The first half saw Cetinkaya Cinar waste 3 good chances, but they made up for it in the second half, when on 64 minutes Ade Kelani bundled in a Tarik Kucuk cross to make it 1-0. 2 minutes later a Josh Djelal pass found Salih Karakis who ran past two defenders to place the ball past the oncoming Komi keeper for 2-0. Cinar had chances to increase their lead but were happy to progress to the semi final of the First Division Cup to now play the winners of Tripimeni v Omonia game.
