Leukaemia Cancer Society’s successful stem cell donor recruitment drive at St Nectarios Church, Battersea
This initiative was launched in support of Michael Kyriacos Efstratiou, who is in urgent need of a stem cell transplant. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have registered many new potential donors, bringing hope to those in need of life-saving transplants.
A huge thank you to everyone who registered – you may one day be the miracle someone is waiting for. Your selflessness is truly life-changing.
We are also deeply grateful to our dedicated volunteers. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and support made this event possible. From managing registrations to spreading awareness, your contributions were invaluable.
Special thanks to our supporters and sponsors for their generosity in funding, venue support, and promotion. St. Nectarios Church, Dollman and Pritchard Solicitors, LGR, Parikiaki and Eleftheria newspapers – your support helped make this event a great success.
This drive’s success is not just about numbers but about the lives it may save. If you haven’t yet registered, please consider doing so – your choice could give Michael and others a second chance at life.
Let’s continue spreading awareness and inspiring others to join the cause! Our next recruitment event is in North London.
If you’re aged 17-55, signing up only takes a few minutes and a simple cheek swab.
