90-year-old man was burned alive in his apartment in Nicosia, while his 30-year-old grandson was unharmed.
Police received a call at 9:40am reporting smoke at an apartment in Ayios Dometios and immediately rushed to the scene along with fire fighters.
No additional information was made available immediately after the incident, but police appear to have ruled out any criminal wrongdoing.
