A man has been arrested and charged following a serious assault in Enfield.
Akos Varga, 48 (06.07.68) of Enfield was charged on Sunday, 14 August with grievous bodily harm.
He will appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, 15 August.
Varga was arrested on Saturday, 13 August.
This follows an incident at approximately 00:30hrs on Saturday, 13 August at Green Street, at the junction with Hertford Road, Enfield.
A 34-year-old man was found sufferinginjuries – he remains in an east Londonhospital in a critical condition.
