A man has been shot and killed in north London.
The incident happened near the Tube station Turnpike Lane.
According to Scotland Yard, police were called following reports of a shooting in Langham Parade at around 3.30pm on Wednesday.
An air ambulance was called, but Scotland Yard said the man, believed to be in his mid-30s, was declared dead at the scene.
One person has been arrested. Police are appealing for witnesses.
Their investgations continue and any witnesses or anyone with information is urged to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Enquiries are also underway to trace the man’s next of kin and inform them. A post mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.
