Marcos will kick off his clay-court season this week at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship in Houston, playing both singles and doubles.
Making just his second appearance at the ATP World Tour 250 event since his debut in 2006, Marcos is poised to make a deep run. He opens against Argentina’s Diego Schwartzman in what will be their first meeting, with a potential second-round clash against 2014 champion Fernando Verdasco looming.
In doubles, Marcos is teaming with Dustin Brown, with their opener against Hyeon Chung and Julio Peralta. Competing in his first doubles competition of the year, he is partnering with Brown for the first time.
