We Are Back!
We are delighted to announce that Ryan Huddart will be leading our First Team as we embark on an exciting new chapter in the Barnet Sunday League next season.
Many of you will already know Ryan, who brings a wealth of experience from his time at Arsenal’s youth academy, where he played until the age of 21. He was also part of two Champions League squads under Arsène Wenger during the 2014/15 season.
Ryan has represented England at U16, U17, and U18 levels and gained valuable experience in the National League, playing for clubs such as Eastleigh, Boreham Wood, and Bromley.
Joining him is George Constantinou, a highly respected figure in Sunday football and former Panathinaikos manager. With 25 years of experience managing both youth and adult teams, George has won numerous trophies and will bring invaluable knowledge and leadership to the squad.
This is just the beginning—stay tuned for more exciting announcements!
*WE CAUGHT UP WITH RYAN AND THIS IS WHAT HE HAD TO SAY…
**“First of all, I’m incredibly proud to be leading the comeback of New Salamis Men. This club has been a huge part of our football community and stands as a true success story. Reaching Step 4 of non-league football was an incredible achievement for everyone who has ever been involved. That is football heritage—something that may never be repeated by another club from the Cypriot community.
Our vision now is to build a strong squad for the Barnet Sunday League and see how far we can take this team in the coming years. It’s crucial that the players who join share the same passion and commitment to pushing this club forward. New Salamis is now a big name in Sunday football, and George and I can’t wait to pick up where things left off.
Above all, we strive to maintain the family environment that has always defined this club—a place where players can come together, enjoy their football, and be part of something special.
I really look forward to this challenge, and with the support of the committee and the community, we can be a big success again!”**
