The AKEL Paphos District Party Organisation took the initiative to hold a protest event on Monday 19 June under the slogan: “NO to the cultural crime against against the antiquities in Yeroskipou for the sake of profit”
A resolution was adopted denouncing the plans for the construction of a hotel by the Archbishopric, in a site brimming with antiquities.
AKEL calls on the government to rescind the decision taken in 2017, that placed the site as a schedule B ancient monument.
