An election will be held in the Goffs Oak and Bury Green County Council Electoral Division in the Borough of Broxbourne on Thursday 22 February.
The Hertfordshire County Council vacancy for a Councillor in the division arose following the recent death of County Councillor Robert Gordon.
Nominations to stand as a candidate close at 4pm on Friday 26 January. The elected candidate will serve for the rest of the term of office until 2021.
Nomination papers may be obtained from and then returned to the office of the Deputy Returning Officer at the Borough Offices, Bishops’ College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, EN89 9XQ on weekdays from 10am to 4pm.
Applications to register to vote must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 12 midnight on Tuesday 6 February. Apply at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
