Seven a side in memory of Nick Kyprianou
The Seven a side tournament in memory of Nick Kyprianou took place in front of a big attendance on Sunday 4th September 2016 at the Aylands Open Space, Bullsmoor Lane, Enfield, where KOPA League clubs took part in the fun festive prelude to the start of the KOPA League season with Inside Out Eventz doing the barbecue.
The top two teams from each group went into the quarter finals. Anorthosis, Maronites, KLN, Olympia, Pantel, Omonia, St Panteleimon and Livadia.
Tension was now building up in the late stages Semi Finals with Omonia beating KLN 2-1 and St Panteleimon beating Olympia 1-0 leaving a St Panteleimon v Omonia Cup final in which Omonia won last year and with both teams players were tired they gave their all with great end to end exciting football, but with Omonia coming out cup winners 2-1.
The cups and medals were presented to the teams of Omonia and St Panteleimon by the son and daughter of the late Nick Kyprianou Mario and Josephine.
