UK Cypriot Marcus Edwards is set to play for the Cyprus national team! The 27-year-old UK Cypriot attacking midfielder—who played for England at various youth levels up to the U-20s—informed the Cyprus Football Association (CFA) today that he wishes to represent the Cyprus senior national team. He has already secured a Cypriot passport, and the necessary procedures are underway to make him available for the upcoming Nations League matches.
Marcus hàs played for Tottenham, Sporting and Burnley.

Our Michael Yiakoumi has been instrumental in taking several UK Cypriots such as jamìe Demetriou, Anthony Georgiou, Ruel Sotiriou, Hector Kyprianou and Sofia Dionissiou to play
for the mens and womens National football teams.
