A German tourist has been arrested after attacking a police officer, resisting arrest and causing a disturbance in Paphos.
According to the police, the man, who was reportedly drunk at the time, began to cause a disturbance at a Paphos beach hotel on Wednesday.
Hotel employees notified the police and, while trying to calm the man down and remove him from the scene, one of the officers was injured.
Investigations are continuing.
