A 12 year-old boy from Paphos has passed a computer programming exam usually taken by university students.
As reported by Phileleftheros, Evagoras Pallikarides Primary School pupil Phoivos Ethelontis passed exams in UNICERT-Java with an 85% mark of distinction.
Ethelontis is the youngest pupil in Cyprus to pass the exam although several more of his classmates at Yiannis Laouris’ afternoon lessons were also successful. They, however, already attend gymnasium or lyceum.
