Swimmers can once again make a splash at Park Road lido, which re-opens tomorrow (Thursday May 17) following emergency repairs.
Fusion Lifestyle, who manage our leisure centres, were forced to close the Crouch End pool in December due to a technical fault that saw cracks in the pool floor make it impossible to maintain a safe water level.
Since then, work has been carried out to bring the lido back up to scratch.
Lane swimming sessions will restart from 7am to 9.30am,11am to 1pm and 6pm to 7pm. An official opening day, packed with family fun, will be held on May 26. More details will be published on the Park Road centre’s website (external link).
We would again like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by the closure of the lido and thank residents for bearing with us while the improvement works were carried out.
