Peter Andre has filmed and documented the moment his wife, Emily Macdonagh, got the coronavirus vaccine at Epsom hospital in Surrey.
The couple were given permission to document the visit, and while there, they spoke to the people administering the vaccine who are working from 7am to 7.30pm.
Emily, a junior doctor, is high up on the vaccine priority list. She said in the video: “I feel like I’m part of something really important. I feel grateful that I’m able to get the vaccine.
That’s why I wanted to document it, to show people that doctors, NHS workers are getting this done and we aren’t scared and we just want to protect other people, protect our patients, protect our colleagues so that everyone can carry on the good work they’re doing.”
Peter added: “Being in here and seeing how many people are here and speaking to the nurse, to Laura, and she said that they’ve been so busy since 7 o’clock this morning, and it just goes to show how incredible this is.”
After Emily had the jab, she was overjoyed and grateful to be given it, saying: “Wow what a big moment! Thank you so much. I didn’t feel a thing, very well done. It was brilliantly administered – no complaints from me.”
