For the first time in seven years, Peter Andre has let cameras inside his Surrey home for a brand new reality series, Life with the Andres.
Episode one saw the Andre family show us how they’re dealing with life under lockdown, whilst the second episode gave us a glimpse into how they keeping fit, having fun, and keeping their sanity while dealing with the lockdown.
The latest episode also saw Peter and his wife Emily clash over whether to send their kids back to school. The singer, who has been taking care of the kids while Emily goes to work for the NHS, was firmly on the side of keeping their young kids at home. He said: “Even if there’s one tiny bit of risk, why would I wanna put my kids in that position? I feel like we’re putting them in a situation where they are the guinea pigs.”
He added: “The only reason I would do that is because you are a doctor and if you think it is safe then I believe you.”
Trainee doctor Emily, who prefers daughter Amelia went back to school, responded: “There’s a risk when you step outside your front door of anything …I understand for you it feels like this big fear that is outside of our control. The point is there is no right or wrong answer, it’s on balance what you think is the right thing to do.”
