Police have arrested a woman in Larnaca after she cut off the finger of her neighbour who she claims was making too much noise.
The incident occurred at around 1am this morning Tuesday when a 42-year-old woman went to complain about the noise in a neighbouring flat occupied by a 24 year old man who had friends round for the evening.
The 24 year old man opened the door to the 25 year old woman and an argument took place in which the women pulled out a knife which the man tried to take from her and in the process he ended up losing a finger. He was taken to the local hospital for treatment.
The 42 year old woman was arrested with causing grievous bodily harm, common assault, and unlawful entry, police said.
