REACTION: Road accidents leave 11,280 seriously injured in the last 16 years in Cyprus

A total of 11,280 have been seriously injured in Cyprus in road accidents during the last 16 years.

According to an announcement by “Reaction”, an NGO, Cyprus is taking part at a wide, cross-national survey, called “My life after the crash”, which is jointly conducted by the European Federation of Road Traffic Victims (FEVR) and the Belgian Road Safety Institute (BRSI).

Reaction President Marios Stavrou has noted that the life of thousands of people has changed in only a few seconds and while the numbers are in decline, there is still a lot to do in improving the quality of their life.

The particular research aims to cover a big gap in understanding the consequences of road accidents, Stavrou added and called people to participate using the following link: www.questionpro.com/t/ALBJjZUuTA (for Greek and English) or www.questionpro.com/t/ALBJjZTTie (for other languages).
