Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Israel could become an alternative to summer tourism in Turkey for Russian citizens. Maya Lomidze, Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, made the comment, as cited by TASS.
Ms Lomidze remarked it was still difficult to make predictions about the forthcoming summer season.
“We suppose interest in alternative destinations will increase,” she noted.
“Naturally, the price will be of key importance in the choice of a place for holidaying,” Maya Lomidze added.
According to her, Greece stands a strong chance of the tourist flow’s opting for alternative destinations and the country’s only shortcoming is the issuing of visas.
In Lomidze’s opinion, “Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Israel can also attract Russian tourists next summer”.
Maya Lomidze also thinks lots of countries are currently ready to attract Russian tourists by offering all inclusive services in hotels with Russian guests.
