Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for extremely high temperatures for Wednesday.
“The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius inland,” the Department said.
Citizens should be aware that temperatures are expected, the Department said, adding “some health risks amongst vulnerable people e.g. the elderly and very young are possible.”
