Dear friends
Thank you so much for all your support in the Campaign for me to become the MP in Harlow it was a hard fight and the support from the Cypriot community made an incredible difference
Thank you so much for all those who came and knocked on doors , made phone calls, gave financially, gave important advice and other support
When the Cypriot community first got involved a year or so ago that marked a real turning point in the campaign – giving it extra energy, and me extra enthusiasm and confidence
Though we did not win, we all learnt valuable skills which we will take with us into the next fight and the next campaign. I will stand to be an MP again as I believe that politics is a crucial way to bring change and stand up for communities and I hope you will continue to partner with me to see us win and to see us have our first MP with Greek Cypriot roots
I write this thank you note whilst away in Cyprus and being here continually reminds me of the ongoing fight and campaign we have to see justice in the Cyprus issue and to see the reunification of Cyprus- something I will continue to stand up for
Thank you again for all you gave – it did make all the difference and we will get out first MP with Cypriot roots in the future
Thank you
