The European Commission stands ready to support the Geneva talks on the Cyprus issue but cannot confirm the modalities of who will be participating and under which capacity at this stage.
European Commission spokesperson Natasha Bertau has told CNA that “for the moment and this hasn’t changed at this stage, we cannot confirm who will be participating, but as you know we are of course, ready to support the on going efforts for the settlement process under the auspices of the UN”.
