The Federation of Cypriot American Organizations, in collaboration with PSEKA and the Consulate General of Cyprus in New York, held a solemn memorial service at St. Constantine and Helen Cathedral in Brooklyn to commemorate the 51st anniversary of the illegal invasion of Cyprus. The service was attended by distinguished dignitaries, including the Ambassador of Cyprus to the U.S., Evangelos Savva, Ambassador Maria Michael (Permanent Representative of Cyprus to the UN), Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis, Assemblymember Michael Tannousis, the new Consul General of Cyprus in New York, Kyriacos Pogiatzis, and Consul of Greece in New York, Petros Dorizas.
