Erdogan will illegally visit the occupied area of Cyprus on 17 October
Turkish Cypriot daily Havadis newspaper (15.10.15) reports that Birol Cinar, Project Director for the water brought from Turkey to the occupied area of Cyprus at Turkey’s State Water Affairs Department, has said that two opening ceremonies will be held on Saturday, 17 October regarding the above-mentioned project.
Cinar told Havadis that the first ceremony will be held at 11.00 a.m. in Anamur in Turkey and the second at 01.00 p.m. in the occupied area of the Republic of Cyprus at the “Drinking Water Desalination Installation” built near occupied Myrtou village.
Cinar said that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will participate in both ceremonies accompanied by a large delegation.
