It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved parents. Our Father Soteris Loizou passed on the 5 January at the age of 76 and our Mother Kika Loizou passed on the 6 January at 77.
Our Father was born on the 27.01.1944 in Tavrou, Cyprus and our Mother was born on the 26.12.1943 in Prastio, Ammochostos, Cyprus.
They are survived by their 3 Children: Louis, Maria and Chris, their Son-in-Law Costa, their Daughter-in-Law Androulla and 4 Grandchildren: Antigoné, Magdalena, Sam and Jake.
The funeral will take place on the 8th February 2021 at 12 Apostles Church, Kentish Lane, Brookman’s Park, Hatfield, AL9 6NG at 12 Noon and the burial thereafter at Hoddesdon Cemetery, 135 Ware Road, Hoddesdon, EN11 9AE.
Due to strict COVID-19 regulations the service will be attended by close family members.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks and gratitude to family and friends for their love and support. We understand and are most grateful to everyone that would like to pay their respects to our Parents and as such we shall hold a memorial service to celebrate their lives in the near future.

The Angels sing for joy
They loved you both so very much
Even as a little girl and boy

Με μεγάλη θλίψη ανακοινώνουμε το θάνατο των αγαπημένων μας γονέων. Ο πατέρας μας Σωτήρης Λοΐζου απεβίωσε στις 5 Ιανουαρίου σε ηλικία 76 ετών και η μητέρα μας Κίκα Λοΐζου απεβίωσε στις 6 Ιανουαρίου σε ηλικία 77. Ο πατέρας μας γεννήθηκε στις 27.01.1944 στην Ταύρου της Κύπρου και η μητέρα μας γεννήθηκε στις 26.12.1943 στο Πραστείο, Αμμόχωστος, . Αφήνουν τα 3 παιδιά τους: Λούη, Μαρία και Κρις, τον γαμπρό τους Κώστα, νύφη Ανδρούλλα και 4 εγγόνια: Αντιγόνη, Μαγδαλένα, Sam και Jake. Η κηδεία θα τελεσθεί στις 8 Φεβρουαρίου 2021 στην Εκκλησία 12 Αποστόλων, Kentish Lane, Brookman’s Park, Hatfield, AL9 6NG στις 12 το μεσημέρι και στη συνέχεια η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του Hoddesdon, 135 Ware Road, Hoddesdon, EN11 9AE. Λόγω των αυστηρών κανονισμών COVID-19, μόνο η στενή οικογένεια μπορεί να παρευρεθεί.
Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε τις οικογένειες και τους φίλους μας για την αγάπη και την υποστήριξή τους. Καταλαβαίνουμε και είμαστε πολύ ευγνώμονες σε όλους που θα ήθελαν να αποτίσουν φόρο τιμής στους γονείς μας και ως εκ τούτου θα διοργανώσουμε μνημόσυνο για να γιορτάσουμε τη ζωή τους στο εγγύς μέλλον.
