A 42-year-old man who was on a holiday with his family lost consciousness early on Tuesday while swimming in the Phinikoudes area Larnaca.
He was rushed to the city’s General Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead

The exact death cause will be determined after a scheduled post mortem examination, police also said.
