Villiers thank you

I would like to thank all of you who worked so hard during the general election. You all did brilliant work in Chipping Barnet and I know that many of you also gave up your time to help out in Hendon and Finchley as well.
I hugely appreciate all that you did. It is a massive honour and privilege for me to have been elected to represent the Chipping Barnet constituency for a third term. This election victory would never have happened without all the efforts of the great team of volunteer helpers in the constituency delivering leaflets, stuffing envelopes, knocking on doors, and getting out the vote. Many many many thanks for all the fantastic support you have given to my campaign and the Conservative cause.
A special thank you to all those who were able to help out in Edgware ward in Hendon which we had taken on as part of our mutual aid for the party’s crucial marginal seats. Through the work done in Edgware, the Chipping Barnet Conservative Association played a very important part in delivering the amazing result in Hendon. Labour thought they had it in the bag. The BBC wrote it off as a Labour gain and yet Matthew Offord’s majority increased from 104 votes to nearly 4000. So your efforts have helped secure the Conservative majority government which all the pundits and pollsters said was impossible.
The biggest thank you of all goes to our association Chairman, Fiona, and our Agent, Katherine, both of whom did absolutely brilliant work and without whom I could never have been re-elected.
I will be holding a party to thank everyone who took part in the campaign and will send your details as soon as they are finalised. I hope as many of you as possible will be able to come along and celebrate the first Conservative general election win for over 20 years!
I don’t have the full list of helpers so please do send this email on to anyone you know who is not on the circulation list who helped out with the election campaign.
