It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our dearly beloved Mum, who fell asleep on the 5th May 2020 at the age of 89. Mum was born in Paralimni in 1931 and came to England in 1951 at the age of 20, where she married our beloved Dad. She leaves behind her five sons, Alex, Markos, Chris, Andrew and Jimmy, her daughters-in-law Panayiota, Maria and Anna, her eight Grandchildren Andri, Dassos, Antonia, Era, Era, Demi, Dassos and Christos, her three Great Grandchildren, Isla, Alexandra and Lois, and her niece Demetra who Mum loved like the daughter she never had. Mum…”You were very caring, gentle, sweet and loving, and you touched the lives of many people. We are truly devastated and heartbroken with your passing but take some comfort that you will now be laid to rest with our beloved Dad. We will cherish the wonderful special memories that you have left us with. You will never ever be forgotten, and you will always be in our thoughts and in our hearts. Rest In Peace Dearest Mum”. Funeral service and burial will take place on Friday the 5th June at the City of London Cemetery. Due to the current circumstances only immediate family will be able to attend which makes us all very sad but we know that your thoughts and love will be with us. Memorial Service will be held when possible, when the wider family and friends will be invited to join us for a celebration of the life of our dearly beloved Mum. We have set up a Just Giving page should family and friends wish to make a donation in memory of our mum. Με μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε τον θάνατο της πολυαγαπημένης μας μητέρας, που απεβίωσε την Τρίτη 5 Μαΐου 2020 σε ηλικία 89 ετών. Η μητέρα μας γεννήθηκε στο Παραλίμνι το 1931 και ήρθε στην Αγγλία το 1951 σε ηλικία 20 ετών, όπου γνώρισε και παντρεύτηκε τον αγαπημένο μας πατέρα. Αφήνει 5 υιούς: Aλέξη, Μάρκο, Κρίς, Αντρέα και Δημήτρη, νύμφες: Παναγιώτα, Μαρία και Άννα, 8 εγγόνια: Άντρη, Τάσσος, Aντωνία, Ήρα, Ήρα, Δήμητρα, Τάσσος και Χρίστο, 3 δισέγγονα: Ίσλα, Αλεξάνδρα και Λόης, μια αδελφοτέκνη: Δήμητρα την οποία η μητέρα μας αγαπούσε σαν την κόρη που δεν είχε. Μητέρα…” Ήσουν γλυκιά , στοργική και ήρεμη, φρόντιζες για το καλό όλων και άγγιξες την καρδιά πολλών ανθρώπων. Ο θάνατός σου μας λύπησε πάρα πολύ αλλά πήραμε μια ανάσα στο ότι θα βρεθείς με τον αγαπημένο μας πατέρα. Κρατάμε τις ωραίες αναμνήσεις που μας άφησες, δεν θα σε ξεχάσουμε ποτέ, πάντοτε θα είσαι στο μυαλό και στην καρδιά μας. Αναπαύσου εν ειρήνη αγαπημένη μας μητέρα. Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Παρασκευή 5 Ιoυνίου στο κοιμητήριο City of Lοndon. Λόγω της πανδημίας, η κηδεία θα γίνει σε στενό οικογενειακό κύκλο, γεγονός που μας λυπεί, ωστόσο γνωρίζουμε ότι οι σκέψεις και η αγάπη σας θα είναι μαζί μας. Επιμνημόσυνη δέηση θα πραγματοποιηθεί όταν η κατάσταση θα είναι ασφαλείς, όπου και η υπόλοιπη οικογένεια και φίλοι θα μπορούν να προσέλθουν να τιμήσουν την μνήμη της αγαπημένης μας μητέρας.
