The Cyprus Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for extreme high temperature on Saturday, 15th of August.
The warning is valid from 1200 local time until 1700.
The maximum temperature is expected to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius inland and to around 32 degrees over the highest mountainous areas.
