Maria Lοizides (from Trachonas, Nicosia)
22.12.1936 – 14.05.2020
We sadly announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother MARIA LOIZIDES from Trachonas. Maria was 83 years old and passed away at the Whittington hospital on the 14th of May 2020. She leaves behind her 7 children Constantinos, Eleni, Athena, Giorgos, Andreas, Kyriakos, Eleftherios, 17 grand children and 4 great grand children and 2 brothers.
Maria was married in Cyprus in 1957 and came to England in 1962 with her husband Nicos. Τhey returned to Cyprus in 1969 only to be made refugees in 1974 and had to return to England as refugees with their 7 children. The funeral will take place with only close family members due to the current restrictions on the 17th of June 2020 at St Anargirous church London NW5 and the burial at East Finchley cemetary

Με μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε το θάνατο της πολυαγαπημένης μας μητέρας, γιαγιάς και προγιαγιάς Μαρίας Λοϊζίδη από τον Τράχωνα, που απεβίωσε στο νοσοκομείο του Whittington στις 14 Μαΐου 2020, σε ηλικία 83 ετών. Αφήνει 7 παιδιά: Kωνσταντίνο, Eλένη, Aθηνά, Γιώργο, Αντρέα, Κυριάκο και Eλευθέριο, 17 εγγόνια, 4 δισέγγονα και δύο αδέλφια. Η Μαρία παντρεύτηκε στην Κύπρο τo 1957 και ήρθε στην Aγγλία το 1962 με το σύζυγό της Νίκο, επέστρεψαν στην Κύπρο το 1969, όπου έμειναν μέχρι το 1974 που αναγκάστηκαν να επιστρέψουν πίσω με τα 7 παιδιά τους λόγω της εισβολής. Η κηδεία θα γίνει εν παρουσία μόνο της στενής οικογένεια της εκλιπούσας, λόγω των περιορισμών, στις 17 Ιουνίου 2020, στην εκκλησία των Αγίων Αναργίρων, ΝW5 και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του East Finchley. H παρηγοριά θα πραγματοποιηθεί, μόλις οι συνθήκες το επιτρέπουν.
