Eleni (Helen) Kyriacou

26.08.1932 – 31.05.2020
It is with great sadness we announce the death of our dearest mother Eleni Kyriacou (Age) 87 who passed away on 31st May 2020 in (Whittington Hospital Archway London. Lived at Hilldene Court Muswell Hill, London).
Eleni was born in Peyia Paphos, Cyprus on 26/08/1932. She was the daughter of the late Agapious Agapiou and Maria Pedousi. Helen was widowed in 1975 at the passing of her late husband George Kyriacou. They were married for 23 years.
Eleni Kyriacou came to London in the 1950s from Cyprus and shortly after marriage to George kyriacou was Co – Director of George Cover Buttons And GK Trimmings in Camden. Eleni retired in the 1980s. She was a popular figure in the local community and a figure of strength for her family. She leaves behind her daughters Maria, Nitsa, Lucy and son Frixo and Grand Children Alex, Sophia, Luke, Valentina and George. Daughter in law Maroulla, Son in law Andrew plus many Neices and Nephews. Our mother fell asleep and left us sad, God took you to a better place. We will never forget Eleni our mum who kept our family close, love you for ever Mum. The Church Service will be held at St.Marys Cathedral at 10.00am on the 2nd July 2020, with the burial at 11.30am at New Southgate. Current restrictions on attendance still apply.In lieu of flowers and separately the family will be making a charitable donation in Helens memory.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε το θάνατο της Ελένης Κυριάκου η οποία απεβίωσε στις 31 Μαΐου σε ηλικία 87 ετών (Whittington Hospital Archway London. Lived at Hilldene Court Muswell Hill, London).
H Ελένη γεννήθηκε στην Πέγια, Πάφος στις 26.08.1932. Ήταν η θυγατέρα το μ. Αγαπίου Αγαπίου και Μαρίας Πετούση. Η Eλένη Κυριάκου ήρθε στο Λoνδίνο τη δεκαετία του 1950 και σύντομα παντρεύτηκε το Γιώργο Κυριάκου. O σύζυγος της ήταν διευθύνων σύμβουλος του George Cover Buttons and GK Trimmings στο Camden.
Η Eλένη χήρεψε το 1975 όταν απεβίωσε ο σύζυγος της, ήταν παντρεμένοι για 23 χρόνια. Η εκλιπούσα συνταξιοδοτήθηκε το 1980. Ήταν δημοφιλής στην τοπική κοινότητα και δυναμική προσωπικότητα για την οικογένεια της. Αφήνει τα παιδιά της: Mαρία, Νίτσα, Λούση και Φρίξο, εγγόνια: Άλεξ, Σοφία, Λoύκα, Βαλεντίνα και Γιώργο, νύμφη Μαρούλλα, γαμπρό:Aντρέα και ανίψια. Η μητέρα κοιμήθηκε και μας άφησε όλους πάρα πολύ λυπημένους. O θεός την πήρε σε καλύτερο μέρος.
Δεν θα ξεχάσουμε ποτέ την μητέρα μας Ελένη που κράτησε την οικογένεια ενωμένη, θα σε αγαπάμε για πάντα μητέρα. Η κηδεία θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην εκκλησία της Παναγίας στις 10:00πμ, στις 2 Ιουλίου 2020 και η ταφή στις 11:30πμ στο κοιμητήριο του New Sοuthgate. Iσχύουν οι τρέχοντες περιορισμοί παρακολούθησης της κηδείας.
Αντί λουλούδια η οικογένεια θα κάνει φιλανθρωπική εισφορά εις μνήμη της Ελένης.
