Cypriots’ travels abroad increased by 0.2% in May 2012 compared to May 2011.
On the basis of the results of the Passengers Survey, issued by the Statistical Service, 88.384 residents of Cyprus returned from a trip abroad in May 2012 compared to 88.171 in the corresponding month last year recording an increase of 0,2%.
According to the survey, in May 2012 there was an increase of 6,8% on the trips of Cypriots to Greece, from.793 in May 2011 to 25.421 in May 2012 and a 4,8% decrease on the trips of Cypriots to the United Kingdom.
