Police are appealing for the public’s assistance to help trace a vulnerable missing man from Hackney.
Christos Adamou, 76, was last seen at 09:00hrs on Thursday, 29 October, at his home address in Dalston.
Mr Adamou is a white man, approximately 5ft 9inches tall of slim build with short white hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue suit jacket, blue trousers and black shoes.
Mr Adamou suffers from dementia and requires medication.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from Hackney CID is leading the search for Mr Adamou said: “We were made aware yesterday evening at 19:30hrs by Mr Adamou’s cousin that he failed to return home and despite our initial enquiries there have been no information on his possible whereabouts.
“He suffers from a medical condition which requires daily medication which he does not have with him.
“His disappearance is completely out of character. He tends to use the public transport network particularly the buses and I would urge members of the public to be vigilant and contact us.”
Anyone who has seen Mr Adamou or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact police in Hackney on 101.
