LET’S KICK IT FOR – CHICKS
CHARITY 7-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT
“Giving Disadvantaged Children the Opportunity to Feel Valued”
Belleveue Mortlakes Chartered Surveyor is very proud to announce they raised £2200 during their 3rd Annual 7-A-Side Charity Football Tournament.
We saw major property and financial institutions taking part in this 36 team event and being put to the test in aid of CHICKS (www.chicks.org.uk). Teams included 10 of the most prestigious national institutions such as Barclays, Lloyds, TSB, RBS, Nationwide, Satander, HSBC, EFG, Investec and Bank of Cyprus.
This year, they were privileged to have the support from the board members of Cardiff FC present at the event as well as acclaimed musician / producer John Jones DJ set of the Head Kandi record label spinning on the decks.
The excitement, fun fuelled packed action and commentary were provided by Talk Sport Presenter Bob Mills created comedic entertainment, as broadcast stars from Channel 4’s Ultimate Dealer Dan Hill and Celebrity Lookalikes took to the pitch.
Just for the record winner’s vs. losers, the winning teams were crowned Cypriot owned company Verve in 1st place and runners up Wilkyson Byrne in second place. Celebrity items up for charity auction kept interested spectators wondering who will be the proud owner of Frank Lampard’s signed football boots were the eye candy prize of the day.
Each year, we welcome the crowd’s dynamic enthusiasm of 500 spectators to support the teams and raise much needed funds for great charitable causes.

THE CHARITY – CHICKS
CHICKS is a national children’s charity that provides disadvantaged 8–15 year olds with FREE respite breaks across the UK- children that live in poverty, suffer abuse, are young carers or have lost parents. Their vision is to give every disadvantaged child the opportunity to feel valued. Childhood lasts for such a short time. It should be a time for laughter and learning, not a time of fear and isolation. A CHICKS break inspires new confidence and gives these children the chance to have fun, try new things and form positive childhood memories.
