Bomb experts cordoned off the road outside Finsbury Park Mosque this morning after a suspicious looking package was spotted.
Police shut down St Thomas’s Road at about 10.15am and investigated for about 40 minutes after receiving the report from a member of the public.
The package was reportedly seen on the street near the mosque but cordons have now been lifted (about 10.55am) and the road re-opened to traffic after the package turned out to be non-suspicious.
