Croydon Council recycling box was spotted in the Turkish occupied part of Cyprus by a Croydon Resident.
“How it got there, heaven knows, but I doubled up with laughter when I saw it,” he said.
The Croydon resident spotted the council branded recycling box in front of a disused restaurant .
“I wondered how many bins are used for things far from their original purpose he said.
“I was at an antique fair some months ago when I saw a trader bring his stock in with Bromley bins.
