Sophomore Leontia Kallenou shot to No. 1 on the national performance list by clearing 6 feet, 3 ¼ inches (1.91 m) in the high jump of the Women`s Track and Field at the Georgia Invitational at the Specs Town Track.
With her performance, Kallenou broke the pancyprian record in the high jump by securing 1.91 m and is now the holder of the best performance in NCAA sports in the US and ranks seventh in the women`s high jump worldwide.
Yesterday`s performance secured Kallenou participation in The European Athletics Championship that will take place in Zurich from 12-17 August.
