The pilot of a small plane is being treated for serious burns after his craft crashed near Kiti this morning.
According to reports, the accident happened at 7.30pm in the Softades area while the pilot, who has not been named, was undertaking a training flight.
The plane collided with Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC) cables during the accident.
The pilot was rushed to Larnaca General Hospital where he is being treated in the intensive care unit.
