Police confirmed Tuesday that a hostage situation in Dasaki in Achna was resolved without an injury.
Sovereign Base Area police were alerted on Monday night after a man armed with a gun barricaded himself inside his house and threatened to kill his wife and child.
Officers negotiated with the gunman until 11am on Tuesday, when he agreed to come out and surrender to the authorities.
He was placed under arrest while the firearm was seized for forensic examination.
The suspect’s wife and child are currently being cared for by the authorities.
