AN ARMED robbery took place during the early hours of yesterday at a bakery in Larnaca.
The thief escaped with €300.
According to Larnaca police spokesman Christos Andreou, the thief entered the bakery wielding a knife and attempted to snatch money from the till while the employee was in the back..
When she realised what was going on, the thief threatened her with the knife. He then snatched the €300 and made a run for it.
Andreou said that they suspect it was the same thief who robbed two kiosks in Larnaca over the last 15 days. The thief was caught on CCTV. “He is described as 1.70 to 1.75m, he was wearing a blue wool hood, dark blue jeans, wool gloves, and a blue jacket,” said Andreou.
