A memorial event was held for the late Louis Tofalides last Thursday at the Hellenic Centre in the West End. Louis sadly passed away at the age of 58 in May whilst in Cyprus visiting his father Andreas who was terminally ill with cancer. The event was attended by several members of his family and friends.

His two children, Alex, a British Champion fencer who has just finished University College London and his daughter Sophie a Cyprus International table tennis player, who will attend the London School of Economics this year, also spoke about the times they had with their father.

Then Louis’ brother Father Marios Tofalides and his brother in law Jeremy Crabtree spoke about Louis.
