An unidentified young man is in a serious condition in Nicosia General Hospital with stab wounds.
The 30-year-old from Greece, believed to be of Armenian origin, went to a private clinic at 7.30pm Tuesday, where he was treated and then transferred to the General.
It is not known exactly where he received the wounds but police believe it was in the area of Eleftheria Square.
He has puncture wounds to the shoulder and thigh and a partial rupture of the spleen.
