Aikido training allows athletes to acquire an adequate physical condition simultaneously increasing their self-confidence. Specifically, Aikido has proven to be very popular in recent years because of the benefits it offers as a sporting activity and physical education and mainly as a means for self-defense. And as it has been shown, the Martial Arts Academy ensures that children and the young receive high quality training in an environment that establishes the correct principles of discipline, self-confidence, self-respect and respect for others.
The Martial Arts Academy with Chief Insaltructor Agis Agisilaou is the first Aikido school that started operating in Cyprus 14 years ago. In recent years, Aikido has drawn the interest of an ever-growing number of people, specially women and small children.
